Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet Revealed for Nintendo Switch

Generation 9 aka Pokemon Scarlet and Violet were revealed in today's Pokemon Presents by the Pokemon Company. While we didn't get any gameplay footage, the game is an open-world adventure just like Pokemon Legends Arceus except it takes place in modern-day society. We also got a look at the new starters for the region as well as the new appearances for the trainers. Take a look below.
The trainers will have unique designs depending on the version you own. It is the first time this has happened in the Pokemon series as all games prior have had trainers keep the same outfits throughout both versions.
